Take a nostalgic trip behind a full-size steam engine on Britain's first light railway. Journey through 10.5 miles of unspoilt countryside between Tenterden and the Sussex village of Bodiam and experience the sights and sounds of steam engines working hard on the steep gradients. The stations at Tenterden and Northiam conjure up the atmosphere of a bygone age. A carriage for disabled passengers is available. Video theatre, printing exhibition, children's play area and museum. A 3.5 mile extension to Bodiam is now open.
